The CD is almost ready and we're planning a release party some time in spring. I'll keep you posted ...

Happy 2012!

Hello everybody,

I wish you all a great year 2012 with a lot of music and happiness!
I was on a vacation for a few weeks but now I'm back full of energy and eager to start again. Tomorrow is my first teaching day this year and I'm looking forward to seeing all my students again.

Jazz Concert Sunday 4 December

Hi everybody,

I'll be joining some friends to play a jazz/fusion gig next Sunday in a castle called Kasteel Nemerlaer between Tilburg and 's-Hertogenbosch. This is the line-up:

Hans Sparla (trombone)
Tony Peters (saxophones)
Marc Baghuis (keyboards)
Rutger Verbeet (bass)
Patrick Verstappen (drums)
Mathias Lang (guitar)

Read more about the show here.

There will be one rehearsal only, so it's going to be an exciting gig! ;)
If you're around, come and join us!

hope to see you there,
mathias

November update

Hi guys,

November was a busy month, that's also why I didn't post anything. I did a lot of teaching and I got many new students with whom I'm doing interesting stuff, nice!
We also played two Vanillewijs shows in Eindhoven. This is Bob Willemstein, John Maasakkers and myself warming up before one of the shows:

We also recorded some demo tracks for our new CD, which should be ready some time next spring! More news coming soon ...

best,
mathias
